u can add dates in food processor and other seed pulps and use as a crust for a raw food pie. With the almond pulp form a ball lightly moistend, but not too much. you want consistency so the ball holds and spread into pie pan. cover with thinly sliced fruit of your choice top apples, pears what ever you feel or whats in season...then with fresh nuts or seeds on top of that pumpkin, coconut ect. a bit of cinnimon or cardomom for spice. and yummy yummy:)

Thu, February 3, 2005 - 10:11 PMOh the pulpiness of it all..... swiftly turned into delightfull raw almond cheese. Take yur pulp, throw it in a food processor, add some miso, lemon juice, cayenne(very little), water, a dash of nutmeg(key), some celtic sea salt, and a little onion. You can add alittle lecithin for added creamyiness Blend into a sloppy goo, and make sure it tastes perfect. Then eat yur fill. after that cover it with a cloth, put on top of fridge, and let sit out a day or two, it will slightly ferment and get a nice zing to it, which makes it taste even better and adds some quality probiotics to yur gut.
I used this recipie on m my raw pizzas. On top of avocado smeared on a sunflower/buckwheat/italian herb cracker. On top of it was olives, red bell slices, and some raw marinara sauce.
